· Atlanta Incubator member Britt Menzies, founder of StinkyKids , and the original StinkyKids characters Max and Emma are featured in the 24/7 section of the June issue of Skirt! magazine.
· Los Angeles Incubator member Toni Purry, founder of Purry Communications Group, is featured in the July issue of O, The Oprah Magazine and on Oprah.com as one of the "Stay a Step Ahead" contest winners. Toni was one of four winners selected out of 9,000 entrants.
· New York Incubator member Emily Blumenthal, founder of Handbag Designer 101 , the ultimate handbag designer resource, recently staged her Second Annual Independent Handbag Designer Awards. She has been receiving very favorable press for her efforts, including a recent spot on the CBS "Early Show."
· Los Angeles Incubator member Alice Crisci, founder of My Vision Foundation, launched her breast cancer foundation three weeks into her own diagnosis. Her efforts are covered in the L.A. Business Journal and the Springfield Connection.
· L.A. Incubator member Camille Hoheb had her letter responding to Daniel Henniger's article entitled, "Drill. Drill Drill." published in The Wall Street Journal.
· Indianapolis Incubator member Anita Hopper, founder of ReFind Originals , makes leather handbags and backpacks from discarded leather. One of her backpacks was highlighted in the "Stuff We Love" section of the summer issue of Modern Dog magazine.
· Atlanta Incubator member Tisha DeShields, founder of Original Belly Works , was featured on "Better Mornings in Atlanta" (CBS Channel 46) on June 19. Original Belly Works provides do-it-yourself plaster kits that make for a great gift for mom-to-be and a keepsake for baby.
· New York City Incubator member Margot Tohn, publisher of Park It! NYC: Complete Guide to Parking Garages, was featured for the fourth time in The New York Times. "Parking Highs" quoted the most expensive and trickiest parking rates in Manhattan, and Margot's book was cited as the authoritative guide to Manhattan parking.
· Los Angeles Incubator member Tabby Biddle, designer and owner of Lotus Blossom Style, was selected as one of the top 10 Yoga Wear Designers by White Apricot, a Web community for the eco- and socially conscious in fashion, lifestyle, and beauty.
· Chester County, PA, Incubator Leader Megan L. Reese was featured in the NAWBO - Delaware member spotlight for June. The story highlighted Megan's company, Her Write Image, as well as Ladies Who Launch. Her Write Image is a copywriting firm dedicated to enhancing and promoting "the written image" of women.
· Portland incubator member Beth Sethi, owner of Bambootique , recently had her eco-friendly coin purses featured on Planet Pink N Green. Bambootique is an online fair trade boutique featuring handmade accessories made by women in developing countries.
· New York City Incubator member Jennifer Dziura, host of social adult spelling bees and other live games, was recently on NPR promoting the Vocabulary Tournament she runs for adults at the Chelsea Market in Manhattan. In the piece, Jennifer quizzes the radio hosts on vocabulary words. Also, here is the blog post.
· San Francisco and Silicon Valley Incubator member Jennifer Bourgoyne, designer and founder of Czela Blue , is featured on Coolmompicks.com for her Czela Bellies Cesarean Wear. Jennifer also recently received a thank you card from Angela Kinsey of NBC's "The Office" for a pair of Czela Bellies she is enjoying.
· Fairfield, CT, Incubator member Sharon Stenger, co-founder of OurHopePlace.com, had her Letter to the Editor about the inspiration behind Our Hope Place featured in the July issue of Redbook magazine.
· Orange County, CA, Incubator member Christine Saunders, owner of the Spiraled Stem Floral Design , was featured in the cover story on entrepreneurs in OC Metro Business magazine. OC Metro also featured Christine in the online video companion to the piece.
· Portland Incubator member Lea McWhorter, jewelry designer and founder of Sophisticated Beads, was featured in Oregon Live in an article entitled "Paying It Forward Good for Business."
